Eliza's school ran a project in collaboration with an agency called First Give to put together a presentation to compete for a £1000 donation to their chosen charity. Eliza's group chose to base their presentation on the work of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Part of the challenge was for finalists to hold a fundraising event in school. Eliza held a bake sale, and raised a huge £101.28 which has been donated here.
After several weeks of hard work in School, Eliza's group won the First Give charity presentation!
On July 19th Eliza and Esmé presented their final presentation
which included information on CF, and details of their fundraising efforts, to an audience of 150 teenagers, and 6 judges, and won! They were presented with a big cheque for an additional £1000 donation from First Give to the CF Trust! We're all so proud of her, and she did it in honour of you, Jack. You mean so much to her. Never forgotten.
